Today’s episode is taken from The Social INK Show. James O’Donnell, Commercial Director and Chris Bruno, CEO, are talking about only working with people that bring you joy. Sounds like a simple concept and in reality, it is.
We’ve realised something this year, especially this year in fact. Life is short, and the vast majority of it is spent working and sleeping. Right now, with lockdowns and restrictions, we’re doing less than ever before. So it’s becoming more and more apparent that it’s imperative to work with people that bring you joy.
What do we mean by that? Well, life’s too short and we spend too many hours working to work with a team or a boss that makes us miserable. As entrepreneurs, we spend WAY too much time working to be doing it for clients that don’t make us smile. And what about that supplier that we think is crucial to our business’ success? You can replace them too.
You see, toxic relationships, in any aspect of our life, are just NOT WORTH IT. It’s time to see the value in who you are and what you do. Take control of one part of your life that takes up about a third of your life. YES, a third. On average we’ll each work 90,000 hours. Only other thing that matches that? Our sleep!
So, remember, it’s time to only work with people that bring you joy!
